There are a number of existing businesses that offer to pay you to scout for books. Some even offer to provide you with a cell phone and an Internet account for scouting. The way it works is simple, you type in the ISBN and the book price, and using this information they tell you whether or not to buy the book. If you sign up to be their book scout, you are expected to buy the books they instruct you to buy and promptly ship them to their warehouse.

There are advertisements, articles and more that all state how great these traffic exchanges are. But are they really worth the time and effort they require? Will you really get a lot of traffic and if you do get traffic, is it good, purchasing traffic?

There are so many rules that search engines follow to determine which site gets ranked number one for certain search words and so on and so forth. However, one of these criteria includes links so that is something you should focus on if you are interested in increasing your traffic and rankings with the search engines.
